Today's feature product is a lip product by Lancome.
Lancome L'Absolu Rouge in Berry Noir is my absolutely favourite dark lip colour. This beautiful shade has SPF 12 and is smooth, creamy and very pigmented. After lusting after this colour for a year, I finally picked up my first Lancome lipstick and have not looked back.
Lancome's
L'Absolu Rouge (as described by Lancome) is rich & satiny as well as deeply replenishing. The formula is infused with moisture-boosting "Pro-Xylane" and is meant to keep lips moist, soft and comfortable for up to 8 hours. It has antioxidant-rich vitamin E and SPF 12 to help keep lips protected from the environment so they it is supposed to look and feel healthier day after day. The stay true colour won't feather, flake or fade, so your pout will always look picture perfect.

natural light |
The first attraction to this product has to be the
sleek black case with gold logo detailing. It's magnetic closure makes it just feel so much more luxurious. The formula wears so nicely. Its texture is creamy, moisturizing and rich. It is not drying in the least and glides onto the lips beautifully. However, this is a deep, bold colour so I would suggest making sure your lips are exfoliated and moisturized before applying it. A lip liner would also help bleeding, however,
I have never experienced any bleeding with this shade.

natural light - one swipe of colour |
Berry Noir is a deep-raspberry or dark berry as the name implies. It's a very bold colour and the perfect alternative to a plum or deep red. It is very flattering and surprisingly easy to wear. The pigmentation is absolutely amazing and it stains the lips slightly after wear. It wears for around 5 hours on my lips if I don't eat or drink a full meal, it will
stain my lips and colour can still be seen after 6 or 7 hours. The swatch above is only one swipe of colour.

natural light - no lip liner - one layer of colour |
The swatch on my lips is one layer of lipsticks
without balm underneath. I am not wearing any lip liner and neither have I cleaned up the colour what so ever. It is a beautiful colour - rich and bold. Just how I like it - I am so happy to own this colour. It is the perfect fall to winter to spring colour. I can wear this on Christmas or Valentine's day. It has to be one of my all time favourite lip colours and formulas.
