OOTD: Rumour Has It - Pink Leopard on Black

There is something very something very simple and sophisticated to me about wearing one solid colour and accentuating it with a "pop" - either print, a bold statement piece or colour.   That is essentially what this outfit was inspired by.  I was going for simple and yet fun - perfect for a girls night out.

This outfit is based mostly off of basics.  I love wearing black.   When it's worn all the way down to my black pumps, I feel as though it slims the body and elongates the legs - at my height, I need all the help I can get!  So I took my favourite black jeggings and put on a light weight lace trimmed cami.  I finished this look off with my lovely Joan & David Black Pumps and a short-sleeved white and pink leopard print shrug from Betsey Johnson.  The most endearing part of this shrug has to be the giant clear pink buttons and the poofy sleeves.  It kinda adds that young feminine touch.  Perfect accent to the sleek black of the rest of my outfit.  Ready for a night out with my girls <3.
