Benefit 'POREfessionally Pretty' Set: Review

Benefit has some of the most interesting products.  I am a firm believer in their mascara and have been since branching out into their blushes, bronzers and now primers.  The first primer I ever tried was Benefit's IT Girl.  Probably when I was about 16 - 17 or so.  Recently, I have been working off of a small sample of Benefit POREfessional Primer and finally decided to take the leap and buy the full sized product.  To my great surprise, when I arrived at Sephora to purchase the full sized product, for ~$2-$3 more, I was able to purchase this kit, which included a sample of Benefit's new Girl meets Pearl as well as their concealer Erase Paste (in Medium no. 2).

I have yet to use either the Erase Paste or Girl meets Pearl, however, it is nice for a few extra dollars to be able to try out some new products.  The POREfessional primer is great for 'filling in' and 'minimizing' enlarged pores - for me, especially around the nose and T-zone where I tend to get oiliest.  I would not exactly recommend be used all over the face - but just where your pores are largest.  It is slightly tinted and has a smooth, silicon-like feel that glides onto the face.
Some people might find this to feel 'greasy', so I suggest going to a local Sephora or Benefit counter and asking for a sample to see if you like it first. Admittedly, I, at first, thought it made me feel greasier.  However, with a little more usage, I found it made my foundation look smoother around my T-Zone.
Girl Meets Pearl is marketed as a "liquid pearl for the face" primer.  To me, it is more of an illuminator to be worn under or lightly over foundation.  It has a thin, creamy-almost watery consistency much like that of It Girl and has a nice luminescence to it.  I am not a huge fan of 'glowy' products on my skin, but this is nice if your skin is feeling dull and lack-luster to brighten up your complexion.  It has a slight pink tint to it as well as a faint smell that I can't quite pin-point. This product is 7.5mL or 0.25 oz.

Erase Paste is a "brightening camouflage for eyes & face" - i.e.: concealer.  It is quite thick and creamy - a fairly heavy product.  I have yet to use this and my main concern is if it will settle into fine lines around my eyes and face.  It seems to be a decent colour match for my skin though slightly pink.  It is definitely more suited for pinker skin tones than mine.  This product is 3.2g or 0.11 oz.

Have you tried any of these products or other Benefit products? What are your thoughts?

xo, Chanel
