Fresh: Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment (ft. the Mini Kissing Trio!): Swatches & Review

Hello.  I'd like to introduce you to my star lip product: Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment.  For over a year now, I have been a disciple of these lip products.  I am never without my Fresh Sugar Rosé Tinted Lip Treatment (spf 15).  I have a correction to make - I am on my third tube of this particular color.  Rosé, if I am not mistaken, was their original Tinted Treatment and comes in a baby pink tube.

Packaging wise, these lip treatments come in cylindrical metal tubes.  They unscrew and the product twists up - like any other lip stick.  The tubes are fairly durable, however, they do dent - like metal will if dropped.  I purchase my Fresh Sugar at Sephora - where there are currently 6 'flavours' - 2 colourless and 4 tinted.  They are as follows: Rosé, Plum, Honey, Passion, Lip Treatment & Intensive Lip Treatment.  Passion and Intensive Lip Treatment are the newest to join the line up.

For the tinted lip treatments, the colours are self-explanatory.  The colour you image when you hear the name? Yup - that's the colour.  Rosé is a sheer pink, Plum is a sheer plum, Honey is a sheer rosy nude, and Passion is a sheer red. (See swatches below.)  All of their lip treatments have a faint brown sugar, lemon scent to them which I personally find to be both soothing and refreshing.  (Fresh's entire Sugar product line seems to have this scent.) They are some of the most moisturizing and smooth-feeling lip products I have ever used.  They are not sticky, greasy or goopy but simply glide on and feel instantly hydrating.

The only downside to these lip treatments is the high price tag.  If they weren't so expensive, I'd buy more - however, they are definitely worth the price.  The regular treatments are great as a daily lip balm to keep your pout soft and luscious, but are also great and helping to heal dry and chapped lips.  The boost of hydration will instantly make them feel fuller and  'more kissably' soft.  It's no wonder I love these so much.  I tend to put the original lip treatment on every morning after a shower and every night before going to bed.  I feel that lip balm is just as important as moisturizer.
